- 1st – Demon666 w/ Destiny Draw Magnet Warrior: This week we see the promotion of Magnet Warriors to Tier 1. This deck full on has 3x consistency on MST, Book of Moon, Super Team Buddy, and Powerful Rebirth.
- 2nd – annova w/ The Dragon Knight’s Path Gaia: Gaia has also made some strides thanks for Reborn the Monster.
- Top 4 – Ryu Zane w/ Destiny Draw Magnet Warrior: A slightly smaller deck than the 1st place, cutting a few MST.
- Top 4 – Davide Magri w/ Mind Scan Magnet Warrior: Mind Scan deck, and more battle-based with 2x Magnetic Field, a card that has become neglected. No Reborn the Monster in the deck.
DLM Weekly #212
- 1st – Bash Jackson w/ Territory of the Sharks Water Xyz: If you don’t pack the spice cards, this deck pretty much looks the same all the time. 3x MST and Book of Moon consistency.
- 2nd – FireRed50 w/ Destiny Draw Magnet Warrior: A more control-oriented deck with ex Floodgate but not 3x Book of Moon, figure that one.
- Top 4 – skillShot w/ Draw Sense: Low-Level Buster Blader: Xing-Zhen-Hu is back, which is a decent play. This deck is heavy on the control.

– [0:11:04] The Dark Duelist of Xyz
- Phantom Knight’s Sword: Honestly not that bad, as it comes with multiple effects like the 800 attack buff, and battle/effect destruction protection. The additional GY effect is only useful for dedicated Phantom Knight decks to Xyz Summon. I’d consider this a core card in Phantom Knights, given the protection and combo potential it has. For other decks, it is better to run some generic quick play spell.
- Phantom Knight’s Spear: Not great, as this just inflicts a little burn for each target, but does nothing to stop the target ability. This card needs to be sent to the GY for the protection ability that is actively granted by Phantom Knights’ Sword. An awkward card for a deck that probably doesn’t need to rely on 250 burn damage.
– [0:15:23] Yuto Level-Up Cards
- The Phantom Knights of Cloven Helm: This card gets a permanent buff when a Phantom Knight card is sent to the GY, but this type of beatdown ability is only useful with a Storm or something of that nature. Besides that, this level 4 monster is probably looking to Xyz summon, so the attack doesn’t seem all that relevant for the end game. Sure, you can tutor a card by punching this out of the GY, which is something.
- The Phantom Knights of Shadow Veil: The 300 attack buff isn’t that much, but this can come out of the GY as a trap monster, a la Paleozoic Canadia. That gives it some possible use in trap monster plays.
- The Phantom Knights of Ragged Gloves: This probably is the usable card of this group, with an Xyz Summon effect like Psychic Tracker. This card must be banished from the GY to do some Foolish Burial effect.
- The Phantom Knights of Cursed Javelin: This has some OTK potential as a generic Rank 2 Xyz Summon, probably a core card in that type of Extra Deck. This could misfire in a Phantom Knight deck despite the appealing quick effect, as they aren’t providing any Level 2 Phantom Knight cards.
– [0:21:58] Yuto Duel Skills
- Fang of Rebellion: Dark Rebellion: Just your f2p skill to get access to a decent Xyz in Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon. The boost ability isn’t bad either, giving your monster more Xyz material. Overall, this is one of the better f2p skill, but these are never your first pick at a skill.
- Phantom Knights Resurrected: If you’re down 1500 LP, you can basically take 2 trap monsters in your GY, and play them, as the cost of 2 cards in-hand. Ideally these trap monsters would come out of the GY themselves, without the cost of 2 cards. But it is some fuel for a Rank 4 Xyz Summon.
- Phantom Regenerate: Overall a good skill, helping your Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon gain another ability. Getting some trap monsters in the GY is the contingency though.
- Phantom Strategy: Good skill! The Phantom Knights are a GY deck, so this is free disposal for a trap card that is like Fiendish Chain. While you may possibly not draw the Fog Blade, this is a free disposal effect.
- Phantom Trade: You trade a Phantom Knight spell/trap for a monster in the GY. I guess this is alright, but was the monster more useful in the GY?
- Trap Monsters: This could be an alternate skill for decks that rely on a lot of trap monsters. Though did they need attack buffs?
