[0:12:58] Selection Box Super Mini Vol.03

  • Terrors of the Overroot (Limited 3): The one use this card has is hard removal on a card that cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects. This has the “send to GY” effect which bypasses those protections. However, this is still a target effect on that monster, so you must have a monster that can be targeted. This remains a somewhat situational card, given the somewhat niche use on those monsters, though you would expect one of those monsters to be meta-relevant real soon, so people would need this card to counter it.
  • Underclock Taker: Not a bad card, as you can debuff an enemy monster quite easily with this card. Real easy link summon as well, just make sure to point to the right monster and positioning. This probably would see play in many decks given how easy it is to summon.
  • Seleglare the Luminous Lunar Dragon: The type and attribute of this card make it somewhat of a Chaos fit. This also has the Monarch stat line of 2400/1000, so there’s some hidden synergy there. This card’s steal and control effect is a quick effect, so it would be best to use on your turn, to use the enemy monster as a special summon material. However, it can be used defensively to stop your opponent’s turn. This card is a bit spicy and may see play now and then. In a way, it is a like E-Con on a monster.
