[0:14:45] New Rush Duel Structure Deck: Raidacross the Lionhearted

  • Hilt, the Bearer of Noble Arms: Right now a 600 attack buff can help you edge over things like The Barrier, so this is good enough. The 1-tribute for bad stats isn’t even a problem at the moment in Rush Duels, and 1300 is not horrible either.
  • Raidacross, Hero of the Dawn: This doesn’t have great stats for being Level 7, and is a little situational. You’ll need 2 Spellcasters in the GY to use this at all, and then you can summon 2 Spellcasters from the hand. This card is a little underwhelming, unless you run a bunch of Level 5 monsters, which could be cheated out to beat the level 4s on the board.
  • Rightful Magic: A repeat of Hilt but a debuff of 600. You just need 2 monsters with the same attribute which shouldn’t be too hard to pull off in Rush Duels.
  • Sieth, the Scabbard of Noble Arms: To prevent this from being a vanilla 1700 attacker, you’ll need to have 4 monsters in the GY. Then this can ramp out a level 7 Warrior, which fits with Raidacross. There is some synergy here but you can even do Max Raider if you so wish.
  • Plaster Scout: Burn doesn’t seem to be a huge strategy in Rush Duels, but even if so this 4-star 1300 attacker is passable just to use!
  • Magic Juggler

[0:19:46] Counterattack! The Credo of Victory, Alito!

  • Number C80: Requiem in Berserk: You’ll need Rank-Up-Magic on Rhapsody to make this, as 3 Level 5 monsters isn’t worth just a 2000 attack equipment. This is similar to Rhapsody but just more extreme with a nice banish ability. Again, there are a lot of cards needed to make this card. The only thing this is good for is some OTK strategy, and even so, this is a many card combo.
  • Number 80: Rhapsody in Berserk: This is a generic Rank 4 Xyz but seems rather lackluster. This literally becomes an equipment for 1200 attack. This also has 2 charges of banishing stuff from the opponent GY, but that is something you can do with a Duel Skill rather than prime use as a Rank 4 Xyz.
  • Accel Counter (Duel Skill): The “Counter” archetype of traps usually deals with Battlin’ Boxer stuff, but the name can include a slew of other traps. The second half of this skill really kills it though, as you must control a Fire Warrior and your opponent had to have used a Counter Trap. The best traps aren’t Counter Traps and are probably normal or continuous. Quick plays don’t count either. So really this is just for recycling a “Counter” trap for Battlin’ Boxer, which is very underwhelming.

[0:24:34] Zexal New Level-Up Rewards

Yuma and Astral

  • Gauntlet Launcher: Rank 6 Xyz is relatively weak, featuring cards like Beatrice, Constellar Ptolemy and Photon Strike Bounzer as the highlights. This card is similar to Constellar Ptolemy, but with destroy a monster instead of bouncing a card. There are situations where this is better, but it seems like a niche card at this point.
  • Double or Nothing (2nd): Generally considered a Utopia OTK card this hasn’t really seen play, though the Utopia can get quite strong, especially with recent releases.

Shark

  • Shark Fortress (x2): This has a positive for being a generic Rank 5. Cyber Dragons typically have better options with cards that attack twice, but this could fit an aggressive need in decks that use Rank 5.
  • Black Ray Lancer (2nd): Always a fringe card for weird typing and attribute, this Rank 3 card doesn’t really fit in Rank 3 decks either for the Water requirement.

Rio

  • Number 94: Crystalzero (3rd): Inconsequential, as this deck doesn’t see play at all.
  • Ice Beast Zerofyne (3rd): Inconsequential, as this deck doesn’t see play at all.

Bronk

  • Iron Draw (x2): This card is pretty bad in advanced game, better in one where you’re just special summoning once a turn. I’m sure you can take advantage of this card though, so worth looking at in Machine decks.

Tori

  • CXyz Dark Fairy Cheer Girl (x2): Not a good card, just a Rank 5 Xyz with no effect on it’s own. When destroyed you can draw a card, and when destroying a monster you inflict burn. And that’s with Rank-Up-Magic.

 Kite

  • Galaxy Brave (x2): The problem is that Photon monsters are typically Level 4, so this will usually be made for a Rank 4 Xyz for Starliege Lord Galaxion or even Evilswarm Exciton Knight. A solid card nonetheless.

Trey

  • Chronomaly Magella Globe (x2): This looks like an all-purpose searcher for the deck, so you can play around with a number of different ranks.

Quattro

  • Gimmick Puppet Shadowfeeler (x2): This card has a weird fit, almost like Stegocyber with less stats, but immune to battles. It could fit as a 1x in the deck.

Quinton

  • Kozmo Dark Eclipser: The generally not that good boss monster of the archetype, this could see play against heavy trap decks. You can just stick with Dark Destroyers and be fine otherwise.
  • Kozmo Dark Destroyer (3rd): This is the true boss monster for the archetype and 3x is welcome.

Anna Kaboom

  • Southern Stars (3rd): Railway decks seem to do fine without this card.

Girag

  • Fire Hand (3rd): We get more hands! This is a pretty good card for an underwhelming deck, so it’s all fine.

Alito

  • Xyz Reflect (2x): This could see play for Xyz heavy decks. These types of general Xyz help cards won’t ever be great, but can turn the tides when used correctly.
