– [0:13:19] Skill Balance Update
- Lswarm Union: The deckbuilding requirement of 10+ Lswarm monsters is over. The extra deck monsters like Evilswarm Ophion and Steelswarm Exciton Knight are really good cards, so maybe we’ll see more of those cards. The lessening of the deckbuilding requirement may mean a package in a deck.
- Tachyon Dragon Domination: Many changes here. The deck can only have level 4/8 Light Dragons with 2000 or less attack and level 8 Dark Dragons with 2500 or 2000 attack. There is no longer a set of a level 8 monster from hand to field. The Tachyon Transmigration play from the deck now requires Number 107 to be on the field to activate. Lastly, you must return a Dragon from field to hand to get the trap or spell. That’s a lot of changes that probably will make players move on to a new skill.
- Shiranui Style Successor: Another nerf to the other Tier 0 deck, though not as crazy. You can only add a monster now instead of any Shiranui card.
– [0:18:28] Tour Guide’s Mission Bingo
- Steel Star Regulator: This is a pretty flexible link monster, composed 3 non-Link monsters. It will gain a bunch of attack and can even pop a card on the board. You get bonus points if you used an Xyz monster. This card should see situational play in Extra decks that can afford to fit in another removal tool. This is honestly a very solid card.
– [0:22:03] Genesis Maximum R/Ns
– [0:28:22] Ranked Duels Updated
- Super King Rex: 2-tribute 2500, who can swarm out another Dinosaur from the GY. Seems pretty good, though you’ll need to run some normal monsters in the deck.
- Megazowler: This is an all-around stat card at 1800/2000. A fine card to run in the deck for what it is, and not terribly outclassed.
- Little D: Just a Dinosaur filler.
– [0:30:27] Card Trader Updated
- Uraby: Here’s your 1500 beater for Dinosaurs. Until we move up to 1600, Uraby will be your dude.
- Madolche Fresh Sistart: Board protection for your Madolche Chateau and Nights, stuff like that. This also stays on the board, so as long as you have some monsters in the GY.
